When it comes to lung cancer, EARLY DETECTION is key

The earlier lung cancer is diagnosed, the better the odds are.

If you are experiencing any symptoms of lung cancer, especially if you are at risk, don’t wait to TAKE ACTION! Talk to your doctor right away about any changes to your health.

A loved one who is also at risk or presenting symptoms is also an opportunity for you to TAKE ACTION and encourage them to speak to their doctor.

In a recent survey, only 48% of Canadians said they would make an appointment with their doctor within 3 weeks of experiencing any physical symptoms.

If you feel that something is wrong, be persistent in watching out for symptoms. The symptoms of lung cancer can resemble those of other conditions, like bronchitis, allergies or a cold. Be the MVP and help change the odds – it might be the nudge your loved one needs to take control of their health.
