OF LUNG CANCER*
In a fight against lung cancer, early detection is key. But in the early stages of the disease, people with lung cancer may not have any symptoms at all – or they may not realize their symptoms are caused by lung cancer. Symptoms can change over time, as the condition changes. Knowing the symptoms of lung cancer could make the difference for someone you love.
If someone you love is experiencing any of the following symptoms of lung cancer, encourage them to see their doctor right away.
- Cough that doesn’t go away, or gets worse
- Shortness of breath and/or wheezing
- Coughing up blood
- Sudden weight loss
- Loss of appetite
- Voice changes, hoarseness
- Trouble swallowing
